The Broadcast Station is a small building featured in the 2nd episode of Signals from the Other Side, being a location that was previously used for television broadcasts for a local broadcaster, which was closed after scandals of leaks of confidential documents revealing that the company was a front for covert military operations.
The place is presented during the trip of the team The Five to the place, through the instructions given by Morato Vertaler in his documented tapes, referring to possible Aliens' influences in the region.[1]

On July 26, 1990, it is known that the region was a television transmission site for the local broadcaster "TV Varminho", which years later was closed after alleged leaks of confidential documents revealing that the company was a front for secret military operations, remaining abandoned after paranormal activities at the station.[2]
Before to the arrival of the The Five team in the region, the place was used by people who were in the place anxiously waiting to witness activities of extraterrestrial life, and, later, to be abducted by such creatures to become join his relatives and acquaintances who disappeared on the spot in previous moments.
Signals from the Other Side[]
The Broadcast Station is visited during the arrival of the team, The Five, following information transmitted from their mentor, Morato, who through his documentation on the tapes, had diagnosed potential paranormal influences from Aliens in the location.[1]
Arriving near the camp next to the Transmission Station, they talk to the residents Edimeia Soares, Eriberto Viamão and Ludismila Soares who have settled in the place. The three talk about the aliens and talk about family members and acquaintances who have already been taken by them, and who say they want to be taken too.
The group also notice an apparently abandoned station, exploring it together, they notice the strong smell in the place and a completely destroyed and charred environment, in addition to a graffitied symbol on the wall, being the same symbol of the local TV broadcaster and objects containing remnants of a completely strange fingerprint. Also, several reports with graphs of TV signals, realizing that the broadcast station must receive signals from several stations, but most had interference, with only one fully sending the signals: the station's symbol.
After a series of explorations and investigations of the site, The Five investigate the evidence found and identify the possible presence of a camouflaged Alien called Fummu in the region. They then organize themselves and set up an ambush plan for the creature after investigating the correct way to make it visible, which is to fill the environment with gas or smoke to enable the creature to engage.
After Chico launches a smoke bomb towards the Transmission Station and closes the place down, Fummu is finally revealed and confronted by the team. Subsequently, with a long and arduous fight, the creature is finished and killed by Alexandre. Shortly afterwards, Guizo sees Edimeia, Eriberto and Ludismila being kidnapped and taken from the camp quickly by a black van, and The Five leave the place after receiving an SOS signal coming directly from the Zucchini Farm.
