The Batterfly, also known as the Ooze Bat, is one of the several paranormal creatures that manifest on the Holy Cradle Mines.

Its first appearance was in the 13th episode of The Secret in the Forest, found by Team H while exploring the mines.

Appearance

The Batterfly has an appearance very similar to that of a huge bat, with sharp teeth, brownish skin, large ears that allow it to use echolocation, and fingers joined by a webbing between toes, but with huge moth-like wings and black tentacles protruding from the inside of its mouth.

Abilities

• Winged Creature: It is the first creature in the entire campaign that actually flies, its pair of moth wings are its main form of locomotion, and by removing them from its back, it is unable to move well.

• Hematophagia: Being a Hematophage, it uses the several small black tentacles in its mouth to pierce the skin of its victims and reach the bloodstream, where they drink the blood and regenerate from their wounds, according to how much liquid they consume. This is the Bats' main form of attack.

• Echolocation: Because they have several similarities with bats, it is presumable that bats have super-powerful hearing and atrophied vision, using echolocation for their locomotion, which consists of emitting high-frequency screams, inaudible by humans, which when they hit an object are reflected and captured by the animal's ears, managing to see the distance and shape of the elements around it.
