The Aracnasite is a Death parasitic paranormal creature with the complement of Fear that manifests from a spider of Reality exposed to a Death Symbol that, after coming into contact with the Black Ooze, developed a parasitic behavior.

Its first appearance was in the 3rd episode of The Secret in the Forest as "Subject 02" from Project HC, initially in a minor state imprisoned in the Virgulino's house, who after fleeing attacks Thiago Fritz and uses him as a source of Potential Energy, growing exponentially in size. Its final form was killed by a flare gunshot fired by Elizabeth Webber.

Appearance

In its tiny, undeveloped state, this creature has the appearance of a normal spider, with the only difference being that its paws are replaced by hands.

After parasitizing a victim and consuming his Potential Energy, it becomes colossal in size with a face full of eyes and sharp teeth, with two huge pedipalps. She also has a gelatinous and translucent bag attached to her back, which appears to be like a gooey hot water bottle and which has the same effect as Ooze on whoever comes into contact with it. Because this creature was formed after coming into contact with the Ooze, it continues to manifest it throughout its body, particularly its abdomen, which is where its victim is stored.

Behavior

After being manifested, the Aracnasite has a parasitic behavior and therefore they tend to surprise their victims, clinging to their faces and keeping them unconscious. Then, they slowly absorb the still-living victim's entire body to consume their Potential Energy. The more time they spend consuming their lifetime, they become bigger and more powerful, being able to reproduce at an accelerated rate, forming countless small copies of themselves, but unable to reproduce independently.

Abilities

• Parasitize: The Aracnasite can keep an individual in a cocoon inside its abdomen in order to drain his Potential Energy. The longer the creature absorbs its victim, its strength and size gradually increase.

• Spawn Spiders: Along with its growth, Arachnasite acquires the ability to generate numerous Spiders that resemble itself, but kept in a smaller size. These spiders have a kind of connection to their mother, acting as an extension of her will.

• Shoot Web: As a spider, Aracnasite is capable of producing webs, but the material is composed of the Black Ooze of Death. Upon hitting a target, the web expands and envelops them in a cocoon, completely restricting their movement.

Trivia

• Originally the Aracnasite would be the first contact with the Scientists that Team H would have if they had checked the rest of the body after the creature's defeat, since in one of its legs, there was a small tag marked "SUBJECT 02".
• The Aracnasite was the first monster to give chase to the players, following them through the bowels of the Carpazinha Forest, with several smaller spiders attacking Team H as it fled to the back of the Ape Hangers Bar.
