Ancestral Investment Authority, abbreviated as AIA, is an influential international investment fund with a worth wealth of more than one trillion dollars. Owning much of the mundane markets, AIA is currently looking to expand its market for the occult world, doing several tests with the paranormal seeking to use them to increase their profits even more.
One of their experiments, as well as one of their executives, are one of the great focus of the first mission of the add-on Surviving the Horror, Shopping Night.[1]

AIA is a large corporation managing and selling various worldly or paranormal products internationally, with its executive members and subordinate mercenaries aiming at profit above all, running several inhuman projects for this. Their management, formed by unscrupulous magnates from various countries, have the knowledge of the existence of paranormal and recently entered the occult market in search of further profit, researching the possibility of weakening the Veil in specific places with the aim of creating an environment capable of conjuring more powerful rituals.
Neither all the members of the fund seem to know a lot about the supernatural, since this is a requirement for a high office, such as the management.
History[]
It is unknown how long this fund existed before Shopping Night's events, but they have been in the world market for years at least due to their trillions of dollars bang-bang success amid investments.
For their managers to know of the existence of the Other Side and their means, they began to move several experiments with the idea of using the occultism for their own benefits. A time before the mission, the fund acquired the Park Shopping Arcádia, a common trading center and full of various "guinea pigs" in potentials, and started another experiment to make the local Veil weaker to the point of accessing more of the Other Side, with the managers ordering Antonella Blanchard and her subordinates to execute the plan.
On a stormy day, AIA members begin preparations to isolate the Park Shopping, sabotaging the roads with a deliberate truck crash, blocking the phone signals, preparing a poison gas and locking everyone in the mall, separating the civilians and causing several deaths, leaving only a few so that the feelings of Fear further damage the Veil. At the same time of preparations, the guards bring a box with a tortured and ritualistically prepared corpse to the cinema, testing if a manifestation would come up from it.
