Even though I failed to find Tenebris again after so many years, I leave this life hopeful that Reality is a more protected place than when I found it.

Ângelo Amadeu Moretti's letter

Ângelo Amadeu Moretti was the Patriarch of the Moretti family and leader of the Order of Hunters, also known as the Guardians of Secrets; a family of Italian origin in which most were explorers and bon-vivants who travel the world in search of new discoveries.[1]

During the 7th episode of The Secret in the Island, it's mentioned in his testimony that Ângelo at one point in his life, found Tenebris, subsequently failing in his mission to find it again.[2]

Biography[]

Approximately in the 1500s, during the period of colonization, marked the arrival of Ângelo Amadeu Moretti, patriarch and leader of the Order of Hunters on the island of Tipora. Arriving there, several conflicts were found with the natives of the place, being noticeable the physiognomy of hooded individuals that contained a face paint of the substance of the paint.

After understanding the secret that guarded the place, a tradition was created in the Moretti Family that determined where there would always be a lighthouse keeper and guardian of the secret of the island of Tipora, preventing others from accessing the secret and protecting the veil, originating the Vurtoren Family, a direct strand that would be responsible for the tradition that would be passed from father to son, with the duties being taught to the son man over time.

At some unknown point in his life, Ângelo found Tenebris on one of his trips around the world in a hitherto mysterious way. So, when trying to find it again, for some reason, he was unsuccessful in achieving this goal, being unable to deal with the consequences of that initial meeting or being prevented from proceeding by external or internal obstacles.[2]

Trivia[]
